This kickdown rod is made of stainless steel and will remain elegant looking its entire life. The bushings are permanently installed just like the OEM bushings were except the plastic is superior to the nylon used by the OEM. That plastic is Delrin which has better lubricity. 4V only! Select YES for a custom rod If you have an aftermarket high rise manifold, or a carb spacer greater than 1". This rod has the return spring hole located in the side of the rod at the down bend per OEM design. If you need a custom rod, please NOTE what it is about your application that makes it custom so I will know how to build the rod.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD. EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.
