This sale is for a NEW transmission kickdown rod for a 73-79 Ford F-150 or F-250 Custom pickup truck with a 351M, 400M, FE engine, C-6 transmission, 4V carb AND is ONLY for this truck with a 4X4 option.

There is another sale for this same application except with a 2 barrel carb. Use it for 2V app.

A different rod is required if you have a high rise manifold or a carb spacer greater than 1/2”. ASK ....PLEASE. This stock rod WILL NOT WORK with a high rise.

Made of stainless steel to last forever.

The end bushings are permanently installed and are better than the OEM bushings as they are made out of Delrin.

The correct rod retainers ("E" clips) are included with this rod. Before purchasing, contact seller if an aftermarket high rise intake manifold or a carb spacer greater than 1/2" is installed as there is a $15 surcharge to make a custom rod.

NOTE: If you are using a Holley carburetor and do not have the kickdown rod return spring kit that is needed, go to this link to pick up the spring kit.
