This sale is for a NEW transmission kickdown rod for a 77-79  Ford F-100, F-250 or F-350 pickup truck with a 351M, 400 Engine and a 4V carb, C-6 transmission AFTER SERIAL # 60,001.

EXCEPT 70-79 F-100 302 C-4, 73-85 F250HD and F350 with 460 engine.  NOT FOR A 4X4. There are separate sales for these rods.

If you are using a Holley carburetor, I now have kickdown rod return spring kits available on this website. Use Add to Cart for the rod sale first and then for the return spring kit, if you want it, and the spring kit will basically be shipped free with combined shipping.

A different rod is required if you have a highrise manifold. PLEASE advise seller if an aftermarket high rise manifold is installed or a carb spacer with a thickness greater than 1/4". THERE IS A $15.00 SURCHARGE FOR MAKING A CUSTOM ROD. This stock rod WILL NOT WORK with a highrise.

Made of stainless steel to last forever. The end bushings are permanently installed and are better than the OEM bushings as they are made out of Delrin. The correct rod retainers are included with this rod.
