This kickdown rod is made of stainless steel and was reproduced using an original rod purchased from a junk yard. It is accurate in every detail and has the permanently installed Delrin bushings installed just like the OEM did them only better as the Delrin will last longer.

NOTE! This rod is for a stock 2 barrel carb application. If you need a 4V (barrel) rod, select YES for a custom rod and note that you want a rod for a 4V carb.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD. EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.

Please contact us BEFORE purchasing if you have an aftermarket high rise manifold installed or a carb spacer with a thickness greater than 1". There is a $25 surcharge to make a custom rod for these applications. If you need a custom rod, please NOTE what it is about your application that makes it custom so I will know how to build the rod.
