This kickdown rod is made of stainless steel and will remain elegant looking its entire life. The bushings are permanently installed just like the OEM bushings were.

Select for 4V application/custom rod or for a highrise manifold or carb spacer 1” or greater and also please note all your engine specs so I know how to build it.

Edelbrock carbs require their part # 1483, Adapter for Ford kickdown rod.

Edelbrock AVS2 carbs will require a custom rod be built due to that carb’s kickdown design. Please tell us if you have one installed.

1400 Series Model Edelbrock’s do NOT require a custom rod, however, the 2V rod MUST be used for the 1400 Series Models. (NOT THE 4V ROD!).

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD.
