This throttle cable bracket is an exact duplication of the original to include the reinforcing rib pressed into the entire flat surface of the bracket including the PCV port "hump".

This bracket will also work well if an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor is installed. It will NOT WORK with the Edelbrock AVS2 carb. I have a bracket designed for the AVS2 that allows an 1 ½ inch farther reach to the left that is needed with the AVS2 carb.

It is black oxided for rust prevention.

This bracket is equal to or exceeds OEM specs as it is ruggedly made. This bracket has a 5.125” bolt hole center dimension, ie, for a Holley or similar carburetor. NOTE: THIS BRACKET WILL NOT FIT A 70 TORINO SCJ IF IT IS EQUIPPED WITH A HOLLEY 780 CARBURETOR. IF THAT IS THE CASE, YOU MUST USE THE 69 428 CJ MUSTANG/COUGAR THROTTLE CABLE BRACKET THAT HAS THE DROP CENTER CROSS BAR TO CLEAR THE SECONDARY FUEL BOWL.
