This sale is for a NEW transmission kickdown rod for a 1976 Ford F100 with a  351C  engine and a C-4 transmission. This is a special application for this rod in a truck since 351C engines were not installed in pick up trucks….but they are out there.

NOTE:  YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD. 

EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.

If you have a 1400 series Edelbrock carburetor installed, use this  rod. Please notify us if you have an AVS2 model Edelbrock as that will require a custom rod be built.

The rod comes with two “E” clips to retain each end of the rod.

This rod is made of stainless steel so it will not rust. The bushings are permanently installed just like the OEM installed them but they are made of Delrin, a more superior plastic than what was used by the OEM. (nylon)
