This kickdown rod is an exact reproduction of the OEM's rod. It has Delrin bushings installed just like the OEM's except they are a better quality plastic that has better lubricity and rejects wear more readily. The rod itself is made of high quality stainless steel so it will never rust out.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD. EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.
