This sale is for a NEW transmission kickdown rod for a 73-79 Ford F-150 or F-250 Custom pickup truck with a 460 engine, C-6 transmission, 4V carb AND is ONLY for this truck with a 4X4 option.

NOTE: YOUR CARBURETOR MUST HAVE A KICKDOWN LEVER INSTALLED IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS KICKDOWN ROD. EDELBROCK CARBS REQUIRE THEIR PART # 1483, FORD KICKDOWN ROD ADAPTER.

Select YES for a custom rod if you have an aftermarket high rise intake manifold installed or a carb spacer greater than 1".

If you need a custom rod, please NOTE what it is about your application that makes it custom so I will know how to build the rod.

The end bushings are permanently installed and are better than the OEM bushings as they are made out of Delrin.

The correct rod retainers ("E" clips) are included with this rod.
