This sale is for a NEW REPRODUCTION transmission kickdown rod for a 1983-1994 Ford F-250, F-350 Pickup Truck or Bronco with a 6.9L OR 7.3L IDI DIESEL ENGINE ONLY and a C-6 transmission.
Reproduced from an NOS rod as a template so it IS correct for the application stated. This rod can only be used with a C-6 transmission. NOS part # is E3TZ-7A187-C. The 6.9L engine was used from '83-'87 at which time the engine was upgraded to the 7.3L and that was used thru 1994 year model.
The end bushings are permanently installed and are better than the OEM bushings as they are made of Delrin.
The correct rod retainers ("E" clips)are included with this rod.
